Yes, SkipSchool offers a free plan with a daily limit on messages. For unlimited access to all features, including Bulk Mode and smarter AI models, you can upgrade to SkipSchool Pro.
First, upload your file(s) (like a worksheet PDF). Then, click the "Bulk Mode" button so it's active. Finally, press Enter or send your request. SkipSchool will then find and answer every question from your files.
The Humanize tool rewrites text to make it sound less like it was written by an AI. This can help make your writing seem more natural and avoid detection by AI checkers like Turnitin.
Like any tool, it depends on how you use it. We strongly recommend reading the "Safety Tips" (click the shield icon) to learn how to use SkipSchool responsibly and avoid academic dishonesty. Never use it on a school-managed device or network.
When your answer appears in the Canvas sidebar, click the download icon at the top right of the sidebar to save the entire response as a PDF file. You can also click on any individual answer card to copy its text.
The main search bar sends your request to the "Canvas," which is best for getting direct answers to assignments. The "ChatGPT" window is for conversations, follow-up questions, and brainstorming.
We strongly advise against it. Most school devices have monitoring software like GoGuardian that can see everything you do. Always use SkipSchool on a personal device and a private network for your safety.
In Settings, you can set Custom Instructions to give the AI permanent rules to remember for all your future chats. For example, you could tell it to "always answer in a formal tone" or "explain things simply."
If you accidentally close the Canvas or ChatGPT sidebar, immediately press the `Esc` key on your keyboard. This will bring the window right back with all its content, saving you from losing your work.
You can manage your subscription through the service you used to purchase it (e.g., Gumroad). In Settings, under the "Account" tab, there will be a button to manage your subscription, which will take you to the correct page.

The heart of SkipSchool is the main search bar. This is your command center. Simply type your question, problem, or assignment prompt into the bar and hit Enter. But it's more than just text. Use the plus icon (+) to upload files directly from your device, including images of worksheets, PDFs, Word documents, and more. Once uploaded, you can "pin" important files using the thumbtack icon. Think of pinned files as permanent background information for the AI. They stay attached to your search bar across multiple questions until you unpin them. This is perfect for providing context like a textbook chapter, a grading rubric, or a source document that the AI needs to remember for all your future queries.
Below the search bar, you'll find a set of powerful action buttons. The Bulk Mode button is a game-changer for large assignments; it tells the AI to find and answer every single question from your uploaded files in one go, presenting them as neat, individual answer cards. The YouTube URL button lets you paste a video link to get a full transcript, perfect for summarizing lectures. Share Screen and Screenshot work together; start a screen share, and then use the screenshot button to capture specific parts of your screen and upload them as images for the AI to analyze. Finally, the Humanize button opens a powerful text-editing toolkit. It includes the standard Humanize feature to make text sound less robotic, an AI Rewrite tool to modify text with custom commands (like "make this simpler"), and a Translation tool that chain-translates text to help bypass AI detectors.
The icons at the top of the page are your gateway to specialized tools. The Chat icon opens a direct conversation with our AI, perfect for follow-up questions or brainstorming. The Bookmark icon opens our Prompt Library, a collection of powerful, pre-made prompts to get the best results for academic, coding, or creative tasks. The Life Streaks icon is a unique tool to help you build positive daily habits like oral hygiene and showering. The AI Writing Style icon lets you customize the AI's personality—make it write in all lowercase, use Gen-Z slang, or adopt a formal tone. The Updates icon opens a log of all recent changes and new features. The Invite Friends icon gives you a unique link to share; when friends sign up, you both get a free trial of SkipSchool Pro. The Cloud Features icon opens a powerful syncing suite, letting you share your clipboard, a notepad, and temporary files across all your logged-in devices. We've built in shortcuts to make your life easier. Press CTRL + X for "Panic Mode," which instantly redirects you to Google if someone walks up behind you. Use CTRL + SHIFT + X to quickly open the Custom Instructions panel in Settings. Press it twice (CTRL + SHIFT + X + X) to jump directly to creating a new prompt in the Prompt Library, and press it three times (...X + X + X) to open Cloud Features. But the most magical shortcut is the Escape (Esc) key. If you accidentally close the results sidebar (the Canvas) or the ChatGPT window, just press Esc immediately. This will "Undo Close" and bring the window right back with all its content, saving you from losing your work. It's a lifesaver!
The Settings menu (accessed via the profile icon) is where you fine-tune your experience. In General, you can switch between Dark and Light themes. Account is where you manage your subscription and redeem license keys. It also contains options to toggle chat history saving, prefer faster AI responses, and delete your chat history or your entire account. The Customize tab is home to Custom Instructions, where you can give the AI permanent rules to remember for all your future queries, like "always answer in the style of a 10th-grade biology student." The Projects tab links to other cool SkipSchool tools, while Webhook lets you send your results directly to a Discord server. You can also find our Support contact info and Terms of Service in their own dedicated tabs.
When you get a response, it appears in the "Canvas" sidebar. For regular queries, you'll get a detailed, formatted answer. In Bulk Mode, you'll see a series of "answer cards," one for each question. You can click on any answer card or table cell to instantly copy its content to your clipboard. To save your entire response for later, use the download icon at the top of the Canvas to get a clean PDF of the results. Next to it, you'll find the history icon (a list icon), which lets you browse, view, and restore all your past Canvas and ChatGPT conversations. This makes it easy to review, edit, and submit your work.
To truly master SkipSchool, combine these features. Use Custom Instructions to set a baseline for your AI's tone. Upload a PDF of your assignment, pin the grading rubric, and use Bulk Mode to get all the answers. Then, open the Chat window to ask for clarifications on specific answers. Finally, run the most complex answers through the Humanize tool before pasting them into your document (using CTRL + SHIFT + V to paste without formatting).
